Our second nominee for the Oscar’s Series of Cocktails is the Diplo Daiquiri, featuring Diplomatico Rum. We were super excited to try this one out due to our affinity for Rum products and Diplomatico absolutely impressed. Although typically enjoyed as a sipping rum, this Venezuelan export is a perfect addition to this classic recipe and creates a smooth aftertaste and finish to a worldwide favorite cocktail. This is a perfect recipe to enjoy with company as you watch this year’s nominees at the Academy Awards! You can even make this recipe in larger batches as well!
The Diplo Daiquiri
Ingredients:
2 oz. Diplomatico Rum
1 oz. Lime Juice
1/2 oz. Simple Syrup
Lime Wedge for Garnish
Method:
Pour all ingredients into shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. Double Strain in chilled cocktail glass.
